The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has finally broken his silence about the just concluded Edo gubernatorial election.
Oshiomhole while working out on Wednesday, September 23, at the gym at his private residence, in Benin City, he said he didn’t break down as alleged, following the humiliating defeat his candidate and party suffered.
The ex-governor while thanking the Edo people who supported his party, he said;
“In life you win some and lose some, but life goes on”.
You will only work hard and allow God do the rest.
The former National Chairman said that no matter the outcome of any election, the people must have faith in the country, and strengthen her democracy, adding that he has no plans of running away from Nigeria as he has only the Nigerian passport.
This statement of his, is coming 72 hours after Godwin Obaseki was declared winner of the Edo governorship election.
