Nigerians are currently creating awareness on social media, demanding for the release of a young man identified as Eromosele Adene who was arrested at his house in Lagos.
Eromosele Adene is said to be a frontliner during the #EndSARS protest in Lagos.He was arrested in his house in Ikeja on Saturday, 7th November, 2020.
Top media personalities and well meaning Nigerians have taken to Twitter to demand for his release.
Omoyele Sowore claimed that the commissioner of police in Lagos sent a police team to break into Eromosele Adene’s home where he was subsequently abducted because his number was found on #EndSARS flyers circulating in Lagos.
Moe Odele, whose passport was seized over her alleged involvement in the #EndSARS protest against police brutality in Nigeria said that Eromosele was moved from the Commisioner of police’s office to Panti and then to Area F due to space constraints.
She however expressed hope that the Eromosele will be released today November 9, 2020.
