Methodist Priest Leads Members On Protest Over Deplorable State Of Ohanku Road In Aba

A Methodist priest identified as Reverend David Okechukwu, this morning led his members to stage a protest over the deplorable state of Ohanku road in Aba, Abia state.


The Reverend, Acha David Okechukwu is a serving Methodist Priest in charge of umuogele circuit, Diocese of Aba East.

According to the priest, he received a Divine instruction from God with his priestly robe to walk through this road from one end to another even in the mouldy water for divine intervention.

He was heard crying, ”Where is the Lord God of Elijah”

Ohanku road used to be one of the busiest roads in Aba, Enyimba city,the economic hub of the Eastern heartland.

It connects to many villages, cities and towns including Ngwa road, Iheorji, Mkpumkpu evule, Ama-nwadi-Ala to owerri-Aba, Ugwunagbo, Ukwa east and west, azumiri, Ndoki, Asa, connecting Akwaibom and Rivers states.

This area has produced many prominent men and women including the former minister for labour and productivity during Goodluck Jonathan’s administration, Chief Emeka Nwogu.

But this important road has remained impassable under many administrations in Abia State.
