Mixed reactions as George Floyd’s second autopsy conflicts with the initial result from Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
According to the first autopsy result, George Floyd’s death was as a result of effects of being restrained, potential intoxicants in his system and his underlying health issues, including heart disease.
Despite the viral video showing the Minneapolis police officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck, the autopsy never found “physical findings” to support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation. “
George Floyd’s family after the result, opted for an independent autopsy to ascertain the cause of the man’s death.
The second autopsy determined that George Floyd died from asphyxiation and that no underlying medical issue contributed to his death.
George Floyd’s death “was confirmed a homicide caused by asphyxia due to neck and back compression that led to a lack of blood flow to the brain.”
Dr. Michael Baden, a renowned medical examiner, said that George “was in good health.”
Meanwhile, with the first autopsy result, it appears there’s conspiracy to cover cause of his death up.
The family for George Floyd has called for a first-degree murder charge to be filed against former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin.
But the controversy right now is that 1st degree murder requires premeditation.
“If they attempt to charge the officer with 1st degree murder, he’ll get off and we really don’t want that.
3rd degree murder charge with a 25 year jail term and no chance of parole should be a sure conviction.
I know it’s not what people want, but it would be real bad to lose on a technicality,” a Twitter user said.
